Inventure issues recall of frozen, smoothie products

Inventure Foods has issued a voluntary product recall for our Fresh Frozen line of frozen vegetables as well as select varieties of its Jamba “At Home” line of smoothie kits due to finding of Listeria monocytogenes, in its Jefferson, Georgia facility.

This is a voluntary recall, meaning there are no known illnesses linked to consumption of the products, according to the company. However, Inventure Foods has decided to err on the side of utmost caution and issue a voluntary recall because Listeria monocytogenes was identified within the facility.

The listeria finding is an isolated incident only impacting the Fresh Frozen facility in Jefferson. The recall does not impact any of the company’s other frozen berries, fruit or vegetable products, nor does it impact any of its snack chip product lines. Additionally, no other Jamba branded products are affected.

For information on lot numbers, production codes and other identification of the affected products, visit the Inventure recall page.
