Calavo Growers to buy Rennaissance Food Group

Avocado marketer Calavo Growers said May 26 that it will buy Renaissance Food Group, a Rancho Cordova-based business that sells fresh-cut fruit and vegetables, sandwiches, wraps and other deli items in supermarkets. Renaissance is expected to top $100 million in sales this year, Calavo said. Pacific Coast Business Times
