Zip-Pak releases new zipper

Zip-Pak has added to its line of sensory feedback fasteners with Sensus. The zipper offers both tactile and audible feedback to help the consumer ensure the package is firmly sealed.

“Research has proven that consumers react more favorably to closures that offer a tactile or audible affirmation that the package is sealed,” said Erin Henry, senior marketing manager for Zip-Pak.

The company said the zipper is specifically engineered to have more solid resealing motion and audible “click” that appeals to consumers.

Zip-Pak also said the zipper is available for most any pouch size and for new or existing SKUs. Available as a single or double zipper profile, Sensus can be used with form-fill-seal machine applications and is constructed of low density polyethylene.
