ReposiTrak MarketPlace automates finding suppliers who meet safety requirements

Park City Group’s ReposiTrak, a provider of compliance management and track and trace solutions for food, pharma and dietary supplement safety, has launched the ReposiTrak MarketPlace.

MarketPlace will enable retailers and wholesalers to search ReposiTrak’s community of compliant suppliers, which is designed to allow companies to bring new products to market in a fraction of the time it currently takes. Unlike other electronic supplier catalogs, ReposiTrack said MarketPlace is the first of its kind to automate and guide the sourcing process from end-to-end, and includes supplier qualification, order negotiation and on-boarding of a new supplier.

“ReposiTrak customers have shared the time and expense they face in sourcing both food and non-food suppliers, and they asked us to open up our database of tens of thousands of supplier connections to provide this service,” said Randall Fields, CEO of Park City Group.

To help retailers and wholesalers reduce risk, MarketPlace highlights suppliers that are compliant with their business and/or safety requirements. The company said this feature alone can save weeks of time and help retailers meet their need to replace non-compliant suppliers. He numbers of these could increase as compliance deadlines for the Food Safety Modernization Act come into effect throughout 2017.
