Reichel Foods introduces new single-serve snack products

Reichel Foods is introducing the new Pro2snax product line to the snacking industry. Pro2snax single-serve snacks include fresh produce paired with a healthy protein. These “fresh to go” combinations are versatile, reasonably priced and can go in many snacking sections: produce, dairy, deli, grab and go and other areas, Reichel said.

Currently, fresh fruit is the fastest growing snack in the U.S. and half of consumers are making an effort to consume more protein. Consumers are looking for these combinations.

“Many of our on-the-go snack solutions are inspired by on-trend flavors that consumers are looking for,” said Craig Reichel, president and CEO. “With protein trending high and fresh fruit leading the snacking category we are excited to launch this new product line, creating a great snacking opportunity for so many consumers who are looking for this type of combination.”

The initial Pro2snax brand launch includes two flavor combinations: Sweet Gala Apples & Almonds and Sliced Apples & Mild Cheddar Cheese. Additional flavors will release into the marketplace in the near future. Pro2snax joins Reichel’s successful Dippin’ Stix product line that is currently available nationwide.
