Ready Pac’s latest Thanksgiving-themed salad: Bistro Smoked Turkey & Pomegranate Vinaigrette

Bonduelle Fresh Americas has set out to make a salad that captures the essence of a Thanksgiving meal, but minus the high calories of the traditional fare.

The Limited Edition Bistro Smoked Turkey & Pomegranate Vinaigrette salad features smoked turkey breast, feta cheese and dried cranberries on a bed of arugula and baby greens, dressed with a pomegranate-orange vinaigrette and topped with a cornbread crumble. It has 9 games of protein, but only 230 calories.

“The holidays are certainly a time to indulge, but we believe that indulgence can be balanced with healthier choices throughout the months ahead,” said Priscila Stanton, Vice President of Marketing for Bonduelle Fresh Americas. “According to the Calorie Control Council, Americans consume an average of 4,500 calories at Thanksgiving dinner alone, not to mention other gatherings throughout the holidays.”

Ready Pac Foods first introduced its Limited Edition Bistro salad line-up in 2016 to provide consumers with fresh, peak-of-season ingredients, but as a healthier option for an on-the-go lunch. Past Limited Edition Bistro salads have included Pumpkin Spice, Roasted Corn with Pulled Pork & BBQ Drizzle, Green Goddess with Chicken & Herbed Avocado Dressing and Roasted Beets & Baby Greens.

The Bistro Smoked Turkey & Pomegranate salad is available now through January where consumers buy groceries nationally, including Albertsons, Safeway, Wegmans, Giant Eagle, Gelson’s and Raley’s and online at Amazon Fresh.
