Processing industry validates demand for ProFood Tech
With nine months until its debut, international food and beverage corporations are showing support for the inaugural ProFood Tech, powered by PACK EXPO, Anuga and the International Dairy Foods Association (IDFA). ProFood Tech will take place April 4-6, 2017 at McCormick Place in Chicago.
To date, more than 113,000 square feet of exhibit space is accounted for by more than 270 exhibiting companies. GEA, BASF, Duravant, DuPont Nutrition & Health, Key Technology, Meyer Industries and Urschel Laboratories are a few companies that have signed on to participate.
In June, the ProFood Tech partners convened an advisory council at McCormick Place, made up of representatives from exhibiting companies Tetra Pak, Delkor, Krones, Chr. Hansen, Serac, Azo, Harpak and Deville Technologies. The purpose of the council is to guide the show producers in understanding trends in the industry.
The new food and beverage processing show will include a comprehensive education component presented by IDFA.
