Pittas to become PMMI president

The Association for Packaging and Processing Technologies (PMMI) has appointed Jim Pittas as president and CEO effective Feb. 1. Pittas succeeds Chuck Yuska, who is retiring after 27 years in the role.

Yuska will remain at PMMI in an advisory role through his official retirement in May. PMMI plans to hold a retirement party for him in March and will recognize his contributions at the association’s Executive Leadership Conference on April 28–May 1 in Orlando, Florida.

Pittas became chief operating officer in April 2017 after 17 years managing PMMI’s, PACK EXPO trade shows. Pittas will remain in PMMI’s Reston, Virginia headquarters.
