Ohio Food Industry Summit set for March 27

Food manufacturers and auxiliary service providers will convene to discover new techniques, learn of industry trends, and identify valuable resources that will strengthen the already sizable industry of more than 1,000 food manufacturers in Ohio during the Ohio Food Industry Summit on March 27, 2019.

Keynote speakers:

Shawn Houser-Fedor, Senior Director, Chocolate and Packaging Research and Development, Hershey Chocolate Co.

Shawn Houser-Fedor is a global innovation leader with more than 20 years of experience in consumer packaged foods, product development, marketing and supply chain. She has expertise in global product design, development and commercialization, front of funnel innovation, cost savings and productivity improvements, innovation process and project management. Houser-Fedor has helped bring new, unique products to the market including Hershey’s Gold, Hershey’s Cookie and Waffle Layer Crunch and Reese’s Outrageous.

Anna Klainbaum, Trends Consultant and Writer

With more than 15 years experience in the food industry, Klainbaum develops strategic content, trend insights and educational programming. As a Brooklyn-based consultant and former Boston Globe food correspondent, she brings a unique perspective to what’s trending at today’s table.
