New equipment company to cater to vegetable processors

A new company has been formed to provide vegetable processors with machinery. Mike McKnight, president of Automated Produce Equipment (APE), said the new company will provide cutting-edge produce machinery and packaging solutions primarily to the potato, onion and carrot industries.

“Automated Produce Equipment (APE) provides engineered solutions from bin tipping to packaging and robotic palletizing at the end of the packing line,” McKnight said. “APE’s vendor machinery is designed to reduce labor, increase efficiency and keep customers competitive in this very competitive industry.”

McKnight has been a provider of produce packaging equipment for over eight years.

Customers looking for one machine, or a complete line can find more information at APE’s website, www.automatedproduceequip.com or directly at [email protected]
