Meal kit service Chef’d appoints new VP of marketing

Meal kit delivery service Chef’d has hired Jemie Sae Koo as their new vice president of marketing.

The company said she will tap into her considerable experience with developing digital-first stories for millennial and Gen Z audiences through influencers for Fortune 500 companies to help bolster Chef’d as a premium brand.

Chef’d said its meal kits appeal to those demographics with fresh, pre-portioned ingredients including options for vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free meals.

With more than 15 years of digital and marketing experience. To date, she has led initiatives and successfully developed viral campaigns for some of the biggest global brands, including Amazon, Disney, H&M, Intel, Nestle, Coca-Cola, Salesforce, Toyota, Taco Bell and YouTube.

In August 2017, Chef’d raised $35.2 million with investments from Smithfield Foods, Campbell Soup and Fresh Direct.
