Magnetic food detection company Bunting rebrands

Bunting Magnetics celebrated its 60th anniversary on Aug. 3. As part of the celebration, the company has launched a rebranding to unify all of its divisions under the single brand name “Bunting.”

Bunting’s products include manufacturing magnetic technologies for the food industry. This equipment includes magnetic separation systems, material handling equipment, metal detection equipment, magnetic cylinders, boned magnets and assemblies. These products help remove and transport the metals out of foods including fruits, vegetables and various other solid and liquid food products.

Since being founded in 1959, Bunting Magnetics has grown from a small company in Chicago to a growing global firm with multiple locations in the United States as well as abroad. Bunting has acquired several different companies over the years. Those companies had retained their original names and were designated as “A Bunting Magnetics Company.” With the rebranding, the companies will be described as “Bunting-Newton, Bunding-Redditch” and so on.

According to the company, the decision to rebrand was made with the goal of uniting all companies associated with the Bunting brand under one name, eliminating confusion for customers and establishing the Bunting brand as a world force.
