Harvest Snaps adding larger, resealable bag plus two new flavors

Calbee North America is not only adding two new flavors to its Harvest Snaps line of baked snacking crisps, they’ll now be available in larger, resealable bags.

Harvest Snaps crisps are made with farm-direct vegetables as the “first ingredient,” according to a Calbee North America press release. They have 30 to 60 percent less fat than regular potato chips and contain no artificial flavors, colors or cholesterol and are free of soy, nuts, wheat and eggs. The new size option is a 10-ounce bag featuring a resealable zipper.

“Harvest Snaps has found a natural home in the produce department with our 3- and 3.3-ounce products,” said Paul Laubscher, Director of Marketing, Calbee North America. “In addition, we have listened to consumers who consistently request a larger bag format, especially with a resealable zipper.”

In addition to Harvest Snaps’ Lightly Salted original flavor, new options include Southern Style Barbecue, made with black beans, and White Cheddar, made with green peas.
