Green Giant Fresh launches new consumer website
Green Giant Fresh has just unveiled a new consumer-facing website. The new site features easy navigation and a user-friendly interface on both web and mobile applications. In addition to showcasing the company’s line of commodity and value-added products, it also includes a separate section to showcase its latest innovations.
“We know the number one reason consumers visit our website is in search of recipes,” said Vice President Marketing Jennifer Dixon. “So we wanted to make it easy for visitors to find new recipes that include all of our different fresh vegetable products and value-added innovations, as well as inspire people to come up with their own culinary masterpieces.”
A store locator on the site also helps consumers find Green Giant Fresh products at a retailer near them across the U.S. Products are searchable by product group or type, zip code and a radius of 5, 25 or 50 miles.
“One of the objectives of the new site was to not only refresh the look and feel of our legacy site, but also to make it as user-friendly and dynamic as possible,” said Lori Bigras, director of marketing & communications. “It’s great to have the entire website at your fingertips — whether sitting at a desk or on your phone — but we wanted to make sure guests could find what they were looking for with the fewest amount of clicks,” she added.
The new site also includes information on Green Giant Fresh’ primary philanthropic effort, Box Tops for Education. As the only fresh produce brand to carry these clips, Box Top coupons are found on over 100 of their products and help participating K-8 schools nationwide earn money for their schools. Green Giant Fresh has donated over $2 million dollars to this cause as of the beginning of 2017.
