Fast-growing Terra Exports adds news finance director

Terra Exports, a global fresh fruit sourcing company, has hired Laura Paternostro as its new chief financial officer. She will work out of Terra Exports’ headquarters in Las Vegas. 

As CFO at Terra Exports, Paternostro will be a liaison between leadership and sales on financial strategies, largely focused on maximizing sales growth while limiting risk. Terra Exports has made Inc. 5000’s annual list of Fastest Growing Companies in the U.S. twice. Paternostro role will maintain a pulse over yearly growth, ensure business decisions are grounded in solid financial criteria, and manage risk as the business executes on its strategies and initiatives. 

Prior to joining Terra Exports, Paternostro spent the last 10 years of her career as controller and director of treasury operations in New York. She holds experience managing several accounting teams in her career spanning retail, wholesale, media sales and nonprofit accounting experience. 

Terra Exports works with a wide variety of fresh produce and bagged salads. According to its website, the company is looking at expanding to frozen and dry foods and beverages.
