Edible Garden now shipping herbs to The Fresh Market
New Jersey-based controlled environment agriculture producer Edible Garden has begun shipping its organic herbs to specialty grocery retailer The Fresh Market.
Headquartered in Greensboro, North Carolina, The Fresh Market has 164 stores across 22 states.
“We are proud to introduce Edible Garden’s USDA Organic herbs to The Fresh Market, a retailer that shares our commitment to quality, freshness and sustainable sourcing,” Edible Garden CEO Jim Kras said in a news release. “This reflects more than just expanded distribution — it represents a shared philosophy around delivering meaningful value to today’s health-conscious consumer.
“As we continue to scale our operations and deepen our retail footprint, collaborations like this allow us to bring responsibly grown, organic products to more communities and consumers, while upholding the integrity and transparency that our brand stands for.”
Now available in more than 5,000 retail locations across the U.S., the Caribbean and South America, Edible Garden began distribution to national retailer Kroger in October. It recently completed a new production line at its Grand Rapids, Michigan facility and also purchased a facility in Iowa to expand production.
