Del Monte Fresh Produce VP to keynote United FreshMKT Conference

Del Monte Fresh Produce, Senior Vice President, North America, Sales, Marketing and Product Management Emanuel Lazopoulos will highlight innovation as the keynote speaker at this year’s United FreshMKT Conference, Monday, June 25 at McCormick Place in Chicago.

Prior to joining Del Monte, Lazopoulos was one of three managing directors who founded and co-owned NewStar Fresh Foods in Salinas, California. Lazopoulos joined Del Monte. In June of 2003 as the vice president of fresh-cut. After two years he was promoted to the position of senior vice president, North America, sales, marketing and product management. In his present capacity he oversees Del Monte Fresh North America’s product/business management of its major categories including the newly acquired Mann Packing Company in addition to all sales and marketing programs for North America.

The United FreshMKT Conference will take place from noon to 5 p.m. on Monday, June 25.
