Anchor taps industry veteran for new strategy and I.T. role

Anchor Packaging has appointed Richard Daniels as vice president, strategy and information technology. Daniels brings over 30 years’ experience in plastics packaging and technology with companies such as Monsanto, Solutia, and Honeywell and most recently was COO and co-founder of a consumer electronics company acquired by Harman International.

“The creation of this new board-level position is proof of our commitment to those customers and this industry,” said Robert Hermann Jr., chairman and CEO of Hermann Companies.

Daniels is a graduate of the University of Dayton with a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering and attained his Master of Business Administration at Xavier University.
