4Earth Farms debuts organics line in value-added packaging

Southern California-based 4Earth  Farms has launched a new organic retail line, packaged in paper/poly oversealed recyclable trays.

The new organic line is sealed with laminated material comprised of recycled paper with a die cut window in the shape of its branded leaf pattern and an anti-fogging clear poly film.

According to the company, 4Earth Farms uses technology only available from European suppliers. The company discovered the film product while attending Fruit Logistica, said Mark Munger, 4Earth’s vice president of sales and marketing.

4Earth Farms initial launch of oversealed products includes Organic Brussels Sprouts, Green Beans, Sugar Snap Peas, Broccoli Florets and a Vegetable Medly of Broccoli, Cauliflower and Baby Carrots ranging from 8 to 12oz units.
