Titan Farms CEO to keynote Global Cold Chain Expo

Chalmers Carr, president and CEO of Titan Farms, will kickoff the 2017 Global Cold Chain Expo in Chicago. As keynote speaker at the General Session on June 13, Carr will talk about the challenges and opportunities that lie within the cold chain industry and how you can be part of the solution.

Carr is involved in Titan Farms from the office to the field. He oversees operations from the daily packing of the peaches to laying plastic in the vegetable field. Carr earned his bachelor’s of science degree in agricultural economics from Clemson University and is a member of the South Carolina Agriculture Commission.

Carr is also treasurer of the South Carolina Peach Council, chairman of the South Carolina Farm Bureau Labor Committee and past chairman of the American Farm Bureau Labor Committee. He serves on the executive board of the Palmetto AgriBusiness Council and is a member of the Palmetto Institute Ag Advisory Board executive committee.
