Teresa Sebring named MCAA president
Effective Aug. 1, the board of directors of the Measurement, Control & Automation Association (MCAA) appointed Teresa Sebring as president of the association.
As she transitions to retirement, Immediate Past President Cynthia Esher will continue to be involved with MCAA in an advisory capacity as executive consultant to the president.
Sebring joined MCAA in 1997 as administrative assistant to the president. Since 2012 she has served as vice-president and has been responsible for operations of MCAA including communications, data programs and staff oversight, marketing and meeting/event planning. She also contributes to membership development, retention and strategic planning. She holds a BA in business management from Christopher Newport University.
