The concept for Veggie Fusions was born out of insights that indicated consumers were eager to try new innovations in guacamole and would welcome reduced fat per serving, the company said. Sabra noticed consumers adding new flavors and veggies to their guacamole in restaurants, recipes and on social media.

The Garden Vegetable variety features carrots, peppers, tomatoes, herbs and spices. The South Western variety includes corn, peppers, onions, black beans, garlic and tomatoes. Mango Lime contains mango, lime and herbs.

Veggie Fusions launched in April and is the first of its kind to hit grocery stores, according to Sabra. It will be available in the deli section of grocery stores and supermarkets nationwide. The suggested retail price is $3.99 for a 7-ounce container.

* 3g of fat vs. 5g and 4.5g of fat per serving of the two leading brands of classic guacamole.
