PMA announces Impact Award finalists for food packaging

The Produce Marketing Association has announced the finalists for its annual PMA 2012 Impact Award: Excellence in Packaging.The global awards program recognizes companies throughout the supply chain who are maximizing opportunities to sell more through innovative packaging.

A judging panel of packaging experts and produce industry veterans awards points based on five criteria: marketing, food safety, supply chain
efficiency/functionality, sustainability and consumer convenience.

The awards program will be held during PMA Fresh Summit in Anaheim, Calif., Oct. 27 from 8:15 to 9:45 a.m.
