Pacific Coast Fruit recalls products that include River Ranch Farm salad

Pacific Coast Fruit Company, of Portland, Ore., is voluntarily recalling multiple types of bagged processed salads based on the potential contamination of Listeria monocytogenes.

Pacific Coast Fruit utilized a portion of the salads that were recalled by River Ranch a few days ago in some of its retail and food service processed bagged salads. The Pacific Coast-recalled retail products were distributed to Fred Meyer, Avanti, and Evergreen in Oregon, Washington, Alaska and Idaho. They are packed in a 9.6-oz.-10-oz. clamshell and, for foodservice, are packed in 5-20-lb. food service salads bags.

There have been NO reported illnesses associated with this recall. This voluntary recall is being conducted with the knowledge of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

Consumers who have purchased this product should not consume it and are urged to return it to the place of purchase or destroy the product. Direct questions to Pacific Coast Fruit at 503-234-6411 between the hours of 8 am-4:30 pm PST Monday through Friday.
