KRONEN GmbH presents new pineapple and melon peeler

The newly developed AMS 220 pineapple and melon peeling machine from KRONEN GmbH was designed to peel fruit in a variety of different shapes and sizes:

• Many kind of fruit (such as pineapples, melons of all kind, pumpkins with a smooth surface) can be peeled regardless of the products contours.
• Pineapples can not only be peeled but also cored simultaneously
• The peeling depth is adjustable from 1.5 to 10 millimeters by changing the contour control system.

The fruit are placed manually and than clamped by an electrical selection key. This happens independently of the product size and is, therefore, simple and practical to handle for operators of even smaller stature, according to the company. By various setting options the peeling processes can be time optimized.

The machine is made of stainless steel AISI 304 and FDA approved plastics and can easily be cleaned and maintained.
