Researchers offered grants to attend Produce Research Symposium

ABC Research Laboratories is offering three research travel awards for scientists to attend the Center for Produce Safety third annual Produce Research Symposium June 27.

The Davis, Calif.-based Center for Produce Safety exclusively focuses on providing the produce industry and government with open access to information needed to enhance the safety of produce on an ongoing basis. Open to professionals across the produce supply chain, the event features presentations by the Center’s scientists, along with exchanges on how new research findings can be implemented.

The grant is available to researchers specializing in improving produce safety. Three applicants will be selected to receive a $500 travel grant to apply toward costs associated with attending the symposium.
