Fresh-cut papaya recalled over salmonella concerns
GHSW LLC, Houston, recalled fresh-cut products containing papaya that is associated with the Agromod Produce Inc. papaya recall announced on July 23. The affected products were sold to retail stores and distribution centers in Texas.
The recalled products have a Best If Used By date of July 30 or sooner. Recalled product should be discarded or returned to the place of purchase. No illnesses have been associated with GHSW products.
The affected products are:
-Garden Highway Island Medley, 10 ounce
-Central Market Island Medley, 1 pound and 5 ounce containers
-Central Market Papaya Spears, 1 pound
-Central Market Tropical Medley, 1 pound
-Central Market Tropical Salsa, 11 ounces
