Estes joins the Ready Pac team

Ready Pac Foods announces the hiring of their new Chief Information Officer, Bob Estes. As the company’s CIO, Estes will lead all information systems and technology where his focus will be on transforming information accessibility and system integration. The CIO position is a critical contributor in achieving Ready Pac’s overall company goals through the advancement of their business systems and information flow, according to the company.

“With the advent of mobile, social, cloud and big data, information is significantly changing how businesses operate,” said Tony Sarsam, CEO. “Bob has a proven track record of strategy, design, development and deployment of large-scale enterprise solutions. We’re honored to be able to work with Bob and leverage his expertise to achieve our overall company goals through the advancement of our business systems and information flow.”

With over 30 years of experience, Estes brings a vast knowledge of the supply chain where he has delivered technology solutions tightly aligned with business strategy. Prior to Ready Pac, he spent the last four years at Nestlé USA where he served as Division CIO and was responsible for Information Systems and Technology supporting the Ice Cream, Pizza and DSD Divisions. Prior to Nestlé USA, Estes spent more than 15 years at Dreyer’s Grand Ice Cream where he held several key roles. According to a release from the company, Estes has also held key positions in Information Systems at Marine Terminals Corp., Sr. Programmer/Analyst for the Port of San Francisco and Project Manager for The Cambridge Companies.
