BJ’s Private Label Mushrooms Not Contaminated

Results from two outside laboratories have found no trace of E. coli in BJ’s Wholesale Club’s fresh mushrooms packaged under the private label brand Wellsley Farms, according to the company.

BJ’s voluntarily recalled the Wellsley Farms brand fresh mushrooms on Feb. 20 after a preliminary test result showed the possible presence of E. coli in one lot of sliced mushrooms.

The recalled mushrooms were sold between Feb. 11 and Feb. 19 and included the following products:

Wellsley Farms Fresh Sliced Mushrooms, 20 oz.
Wellsley Farms Fresh White Mushrooms, 24 oz.
Wellsley Farms Fresh Portabella Caps, 16 oz.
Wellsley Farms Fresh Baby Bella Caps, 10 oz.
Wellsley Farms Fresh White Mushrooms, 10 oz.
